Blocks (Regions) & Chapters

JAFP has 50 chapters and 8 blocks across the country, and those blocks govern regional chapters collaborating with the JAFP headquarter. Each chapter is managed by its own chapter leader and officers, and each block is managed by the regional chapter leaders. All officers in chapters and blocks are volunteers. The Chapter Leaders Meetings are held on regular bases to share tools, information and the issues each faces with chapters' activities and discuss for further growth.

The main roles of chapters are to: 1) promote and enlighten financial planning to the general public through Pro Bono activities (free consultations and seminars); 2) provide Continuing Education programs to members; and 3) direct and supervise Study Groups (SG). All JAFP members, whether certified or general category, are automatically assigned to a chapter near　where they reside, and members may participate in seminars and Pro Bono activities that the chapters offer.
